The ART-COB08HS-480-X-220 is an Arraystar Waterproof COB LED Strip. It uses COBs at 480 LEDs/m, on 200-240V AC (Nominal 220V AC), drawing around 10 W/m, in 3000K/4000K/6000K, delivering a continuous, dot-free line.

It features CRI >90, an 8mm profile, supplied max. 30m running length per run. Because it runs on mains voltage, it covers long building outlines with fewer power feeds than a low-voltage strip.

Do I need an LED driver for this strip?

No. It runs directly on mains voltage (200-240V AC (Nominal 220V AC)), so it suits long runs without a driver every few metres. A qualified electrician must fit the rated mains head connector and weatherproof junction.

How far can it run from one power feed?

High-voltage operation allows long single-feed runs (typically Max. 30m running length per run). Always observe the maximum run and use the rated head connector.

Is this strip waterproof?

Check the IP rating for the specific model. IP-rated variants and sealed connectors are available for outdoor or wet locations; ask us to confirm the correct version.

Can I cut it on site?

Yes, cut only at the marked cut points, then reconnect with matching connectors. The cut interval is shown on the model datasheet.
