The ART-COB08HS-480-X-220 is an Arraystar New Design COB LED Strip. It uses COB LEDs at 480 LEDs/m, on 220V AC, drawing around 10W/m, in 3000K/4000K/6000K, delivering a continuous, dot-free line, rated IP67.

It features CRI 90, an 8 mm PCB profile. Because it runs on mains voltage, it covers long building outlines with fewer power feeds than a low-voltage strip.

Do I need an LED driver for this strip?

No. It runs directly on mains voltage (220V AC), so it suits long runs without a driver every few metres. A qualified electrician must fit the rated mains head connector and weatherproof junction.

How far can it run from one power feed?

High-voltage operation allows long single-feed runs (typically the rated run length). Always observe the maximum run and use the rated head connector.

Is this strip suitable for outdoor use?

It carries an IP67 rating. Outdoor or wet installations still need sealed connectors and proper end sealing to maintain the rating.

Can I cut it on site?

Yes, cut only at the marked cut points, then reconnect with matching connectors. The cut interval is shown on the model datasheet.
